CAFE LOCATION

 

• Establishing shot: Extreme wide shot from across the road from the café.

• Long shot, side on to a man sitting at a table >> Fiddling with coffee cup which is positioned in front of him on the table. (Man wearing a grey suit and tie, big watch. White coffee cup and saucer with spoon on a wooden table with 2 wooden chairs)

• The shot tracks into a mid shot >> Two people cross the camera shot, walking from right to left down the pavement.

• Mid shot >> Man picks up the coffee cup and drinks from it.

• Point of view shot >> Man places the, now empty, coffee cup back onto the saucer.

• Close up >> Slowly the man fiddles with the coffee cup handle.

• Mid shot >> Waitress puts a tray down on a nearby table, removing an empty latte. (Dressed in a black shirt, apron, jeans, black cap with ponytail out the back, holding a tray with a glass of juice and latte mug  on it, table and chairs)

• Mid Shot >> 2 girls at the same table chatting. (Table, chairs, cups with tea in, teapot spoon, handbag on table and one on the back of a chair)

• Close up >> The first girl laughs at something the other said.

• Close up >> The man’s hand passes over his wrist to pull his sleeve up to look at his watch. (large-faced ‘expensive-looking’ watch)

• Over the shoulder shot >> Children at another table. (Table, chairs, glasses of juice, coffee cup.)

• Point of view shot >> Mother with her children, interacting.

• Mid shot >> Waitress leans down and (silently) asks if everything is okay to the mother.

• Close up >> The man’s foot rapidly tapping the ground (dress shoes, black socks).

• Mid shot >> Waitress places her tray down near the mother.

• Mid shot with a low angle >> The man looks over the top of the camera at the ‘supposed waitress’

• Eye line match >> Tracks from coffee cup to package. (a brown padded envelope is on the table)

• Extreme close up >> Pull focus on package from man.

• Side angled mid shot >> Just the package is in shot, on the table. Waitress walks in front of the camera shot, she stands and blocks the scene. ‘DIALOGUE’

• Mid shot >> The waitress smiles and subtly swipes table- almost unnoticeable. She then leaves.

• Mid shot >> The package is gone.

• Extreme close up >> Waitress’s eyes as she looks around.

• Mid shot >> Katerina walks towards the camera, away from the café. But a car, with tinted windows, pulls in front of the shot- blocking the view. (Grey Ford car with tinted windows)

• (Subliminal shot) Extreme close up >> Hand grabs a coat and scarf from the back of a chair.

• Close up >> Hand going into the ‘missing’ package.

• Close up >> Hand fiddling with the knot on the back of waitress’s apron (undoing it).

• Wide shot >> The car pulls away and the waitress is closer to the road, her outfit has changed. Her hair is down,​ working cap is removed, she has a coat and scarf on with black framed glasses. (black framed glasses, blue long length coat, white and grey patterned scarf)

• Mid shot with a low angle >> Waitress (now agent) walking to the right down the pavement along the shops.

• Point of view shot >> Hands, look inside the open package; a phone and earpiece are pulled out. (package envelope, black smartphone, earpiece, several 10 pound notes)

• Point of view shot which tracks to the earpiece in the agent’s hand. ( As she gets to the kerb) (earpiece)

• Side angled close up >> agent put her hand up to her ear through her ear and tilts her head slightly.

• Long shot >> agent nearing crossing, removes her hand from her hair and tilts her head back

• Long shot >> Waitress crossing the road, walking towards the camera.

• Long shot tracking agent >> agent walks past a bus stop and leaves the shot. The shot lingers on a teenage character in a hoody by the bus stop. (Hoody, jeans, earphones, bus stop)

• Close up >> boy’s face as he turns his head to look after agent

• Mid shot from behind, point of view of boy >> agent walking away

• Close up >> boy’s face as he watches the agent and shows no emotions
